How the odds are calculated

For a single-roll probability p and n rolls, the chance of at least one hit is 1 − (1 − p)^n. Expected rolls are 1 ÷ p. The rolls for a target confidence q are ceil(ln(1 − q) ÷ ln(1 − p)). For several acceptable, mutually exclusive Traits, their odds are added before applying the same formula.

The model uses published odds for 16 Traits. It assumes no pity or event modifier. The reported cost is one Trait Token per reroll; a future game change requires a data update.
